Eckerd Connects is seeking a Bus Driver in Albany, GA to provide safe transportation for students and perform related duties at the center. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Class A CDL, with a valid license and clean driving record.

The position includes driving responsibilities as well as security and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on safety and accountability during all trips.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Class A CDL is required.
• Six months of work-related experience preferred.
• Valid state driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• Must pass a drug screen per policy.

Responsibilities

• The Bus Driver provides transportation to students and performs general center maintenance duties.
• Inspects and reports on the mechanical condition of vehicles.
• Maintains accurate and complete trip reports for each vehicle use.
• When not driving, performs alarm and patrol duties to protect life and property.

Service Contract Act (SCA) Position

Hourly Rate: $19.12

Duties and Responsibilities

• The Bus Driver is responsible for supplying transportation services to students and performing general maintenance duties throughout the center.
• The Bus Driver inspects and reports on the mechanical condition of vehicles.
• Maintains accurate and complete trip reports of each use of any vehicle.
• When not performing the duties of the Bus Driver will perform alarm and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, vandalism, fire, flood, or similar disaster, suspicious acts and/or persons, and other unusual conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A or higher CDL required.
• Six months work-related experience preferred.
• Valid State driver's license and an acceptable driving record required.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
