Penske Logistics is hiring for Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A Yard Drivers in Connecticut. You will drive late-model Penske trucks with in-cab cameras, are paid weekly, and go home daily.

The role features a four-day work week and a competitive average pay of $63,000 annually, with a driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral. Comprehensive benefits include paid vacation from day one, health care (medical, dental, vision), retirement benefits, life and disability

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; domiciled in the U.S.
• Able to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience (last 3 years) or 2 years in past 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency per federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Background investigation and drug screening required.
• Safety-sensitive role; alertness required.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management.
• Couple and uncouple trailers.
• Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors.
• May run additional routes on scheduled days off to earn extra income, based on business needs and route availability.
