Penske Logistics is seeking CDL Class A Yard Drivers for local routes that keep you home daily. Earn $26.52 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. You’ll drive late-model Penske trucks, work a 5-day week with 2 days off, and enjoy comprehensive benefits from day one.

The role focuses on yard duties: moving trailers, coupling/uncoupling, and ensuring safe loading/unloading. Excellent safety record and customer service are key to success.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; domicile in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in past 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and company rules.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is required.
• Role requires English language proficiency.
• Must complete Penske employment application, background, and drug screening.
• Position is safety sensitive per DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management.
• Couple and uncouple trailers.
• Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading/unloading and pulling from doors.
