Job summary

Gas and Supply is seeking a motivated Class A driver with Hazmat endorsement for local routes delivering gas and industrial supplies. You will haul cylinders (Argon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, CO2), load/unload, and use handheld scanners to log inspections and signatures.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL driver’s license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high pressure industrial gas, medical or cryogenic cylinders safely to customer sites.
• Load and unload cylinders; maintain vehicle documents and manifests.
• Use handhelds for ELD and pre/post-trip inspections; sign for receipts.
• Communicate with customers to provide solutions and resolve inquiries.

The Class A Driver position delivers products to local customers on scheduled routes. Records deliveries and pick-ups on hand-held scanner or on a load manifest sheet and obtains signatures from customers for receipt purposes. Listens to and resolves service inquiries and complaints. Loads and unloads trucks. Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies and ensures all safety items are in good working order. Maintains neat, clean and professional personal appearance, and maintains vehicle appearance in a professional manner.Job Duties:Load and unload high pressure industrial gas, medical or cryogenic cylinders safely at customer sites or at our facility.Use company handhelds to maintain ELD, pre-trip inspection and post trip inspections.Communicate face to face with customers and fellow employees to help answer questions and provide a suitable solution.Maintain manifest and all other vehicle documents to maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:• Class A CDL driver’s license with Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.• Must be 21 years old.• Current Medical Examiner’s Card.• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
