Gas and Supply, a leading distributor of welding, safety, and industrial supplies, seeks a Class A Delivery Driver with Hazmat endorsement for local routes. Expect Monday–Friday hours, overtime opportunities, and a full benefits package.

You will handle cylinders, adhere to safety procedures, and serve customers on a daily basis. Applicants must hold a Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, be 21+, and pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements is required.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Current Medical Examiner’s Card.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Retail local delivery route experience is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to local customers on scheduled routes.
• Load and unload high pressure cylinders safely at customer sites or facility.
• Use handhelds to maintain ELD and vehicle inspections.
• Record deliveries and pickups with signatures and load manifests.
• Provide customer service and resolve inquiries or complaints.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and perform pre/post trip inspections.

The Class A Driver position delivers products to local customers on scheduled routes. Records deliveries and pick-ups on hand-held scanner or on a load manifest sheet and obtains signatures from customers for receipt purposes. Listens to and resolves service inquiries and complaints. Loads and unloads trucks. Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies and ensures all safety items are in good working order. Maintains neat, clean and professional personal appearance, and maintains vehicle appearance in a professional manner.Job Duties:Load and unload high pressure industrial gas, medical or cryogenic cylinders safely at customer sites or at our facility.Use company handhelds to maintain ELD, pre-trip inspection and post trip inspections.Communicate face to face with customers and fellow employees to help answer questions and provide a suitable solution.Maintain manifest and all other vehicle documents to maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:• Class A CDL driver’s license with Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.• Must be 21 years old.• Current Medical Examiner’s Card.• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
