Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is hiring a CDL Truck Driver - Class A in Everett. The role involves operating commercial vehicles to move donations and processed goods safely, adhering to DOT rules, and maintaining equipment and schedules to meet delivery deadlines.

Requires a Washington CDL Class A, 21+ years old, 2 years CDL driving experience or a state CDL program graduate, and English communication skills. Flexible hours and a safety-conscious work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; 21+ to drive interstate; 2 years CDL driving or graduate of a state CDL program; English literacy; ability to operate in-cab computer system; knowledge of DOT hours of service.
• Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations: Washington CDL Class A; meet/maintain DOT medical standards; pre-employment drug/alcohol tests; insurance proof; valid vehicle registration; ability to use mobile phone; ability to learn new tech.
• Physical abilities include lifting 30-40 pounds; sit/stand long periods; vision requirements.
• Essential Mental/Sensory Abilities: Problem solving; Time management; Multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial vehicles to designated locations including inner city traffic.
• Drive and maintain company vehicles safely.
• Transport donation containers from attended donation centers to Goodwill locations.
• Transport processed goods to outlying stores.
• Transport waste to transfer station.
• Pick up special donations and deliver as requested.
• Adhere to DOT rules and regulations.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and report hazards.
• Build and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Perform production worker duties when needed.
• Contribute to team effort and other duties as assigned.
