Kinsley Steel, Inc., a rapidly growing steel fabrication and installation company, is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to deliver structural steel throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Region. The duties include:

1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Safely and professionally operate tractor-trailers with flatbed trailers (45', 48', 53', or stretch), straight trucks, or other vehicles to haul steel and equipment.
3. Properly secure loads using chains, binders, and straps to ensure stability during transport.
4. Physically load and unload materials using manual lifting, forklifts, or overhead cranes.
5. Coordinate with shipping and receiving for deliveries and pickups.
6. Plan routes and schedules to meet deadlines, following DOT regulations and safety policies.
7. Maintain accurate driver logs and safety reports.
8. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report issues, and ensure vehicle maintenance.
9. Perform minor preventive maintenance and maintain professional communication with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
10. Ensure all freight documents are signed and submitted timely.
11. Assist with non-driving tasks when not delivering.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
2. Minimum 5 years of commercial truck driving experience (preferred).
3. Must be 21 years or older.
4. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
5. Experience delivering to construction sites and hauling wide loads is a plus.
6. Knowledge of securing structural steel, stairs, and rails is a plus.
7. Strong understanding of DOT safety procedures and load securement.
8. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and stay out of town as needed.
9. Must pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol tests.
10. Clean MVR.
