Summary
The primary purpose of the Delivery Driver is to deliver, merchandise, and service accounts in the assigned route, while maintaining the quality of our products and promoting a safe work environment.

• Represent Caffey Distributing Company/Carolina Premium Beverage professionally and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist Delivery Manager and Area Delivery Managers in promoting safe work practices, including behavior-based safety observations.
• Be familiar with the specific route.
• Be certified to use all types of delivery equipment, including pallet jacks, docks, dock-levelers, trucks, and trailers, per Caffey Distributing and OSHA standards.
• Maintain friendly, professional relationships with managers at each account on your routes.
• Listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Confer with Area Delivery Managers to resolve customer issues, market activity, and overage situations.
• Prepare invoices, collect payments, and record transactions.
• Check in products with Store Managers according to store policies.
• Restock displays, coolers, and cold boxes with products.
• Adhere to Overage Beer Policy.
• Keep the truck clean, perform routine maintenance, and complete daily FMCSR inspections.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with company policies.
• Check in with the office daily and follow up on messages promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales data and account history.
• Attend scheduled meetings and company functions.
• Follow dress code, including safety non-negotiables, and stay properly groomed.
• Obey all relevant laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
