Summary

The primary purpose of the Delivery Driver is to deliver, merchandise, and service accounts in the assigned route, while maintaining the quality of our products and promoting a safe work environment.

1. Represent Caffey Distributing Company/Carolina Premium Beverage in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
2. Assist Delivery Manager and Area Delivery Managers in promoting safe work practices, including frequent behavior-based safety observations.
3. Be familiar with the specific route.
4. Be certified to operate all delivery equipment, pallet jacks, docks, dock-levelers, trucks, and trailers per Caffey Distributing and OSHA standards.
5. Maintain a friendly, professional relationship with managers at each account on your routes.
6. Listen to and resolve service complaints.
7. Coordinate with Area Delivery Managers to resolve customer issues, market activities, and overage situations.
8. Prepare invoices, collect payments, and record transactions.
9. Check in products with Store Managers following store policies.
10. Restock displays, coolers, and cold boxes with products.
11. Follow the Overage Beer Policy.
12. Keep the inside of the truck clean and perform routine maintenance, completing daily FMCSR inspections.
13. Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to company policies.
14. Check in with the office daily and respond promptly to messages.
15. Keep sales trends and account histories confidential.
16. Attend scheduled meetings and company events.
17. Follow dress code and grooming standards, including safety requirements.
18. Obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
19. Perform other duties as assigned.
