Job summary

Baldor is hiring a Tractor Trailer Driver to operate 53’ trucks in intrastate and interstate commerce, delivering and picking up pallets with emphasis on safety and DOT/FMCSA compliance. You will document shipments, sign manifests electronically, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time service.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class A license with at least one year of experience, a DOT medical card, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A Driver’s License with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Experience operating 53’ tractor trailers.
• Proficiency in reading/writing English to comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Clean driving record per company policy.
• Knowledge of product handling and quality control.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up to 24 pallets per route to vendors, customers, and Baldor locations.
• Safely operate FMCSA-regulated tractor-trailers in compliance with DOT rules.
• Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to load/unload pallets.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and company policies.
• Document deliveries and signatures using electronic BOL per guidelines.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, vendors, and teams for timely service.
• Handle products to maintain safety and quality during transport.
