Job summary

Bakelite is seeking a professional CDL A driver to operate tanker trucks delivering chemical products to customers and suppliers across defined routes. You will follow SOPs, ensure DOT safety compliance, and maintain a clean record while delivering excellent customer service.

The role may involve loading/unloading, variable start times, and weekend/holiday shifts in line with DOT regulations. Eligible drivers enjoy competitive pay, benefits, and modern equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class A with Tanker and HazMat endorsements by hire date.
• DOT medical card; clean driving record.
• Ability to load/unload and operate manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tanker safely to customer and supplier locations using assigned routes.
• Follow SOPs to ensure the safe delivery of chemical products.
• Adhere to Bakelite and DOT safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain a clean driving record and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Safely loading and off-loading chemical materials.
• Working schedules may include variable start times, weekends, and holidays in compliance with DOT regulations.
