Job summary

Bakelite is seeking a professional tanker driver to safely operate tanker loads to customer locations while following SOPs and DOT safety regulations. You will maintain safety, customer service, and a clean driving record, with potential weekend/holiday shifts per DOT rules.

Required: CDL Class A, HazMat and Tanker endorsements, DOT Medical Card, and 2+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A.
• At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• No more than 1 chargeable accident in the past year.
• No more than 1 moving violation (excluding parking) in the past year.
• Must have DOT Tanker Endorsement, HazMat Endorsement and Medical Card by hire date.
• Must comply with clean-shaven guidelines for respirator use.
• Experience operating manual transmission.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD)
• 1+ years hauling Cargo Tank trailers
• Experience with hazardous materials
