Job summary

Core-Mark International is hiring Shuttle Drivers in Glenwillow, OH. You will transport empty trailers to warehouses and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations, operating within DOT rules and safety guidelines.

The role requires a CDL A with doubles, at least 6 months of experience, and a 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday schedule. Compensation is about $300 per day, potentially around $78,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Work required 3rd shift schedule, Sunday-Thursday nights (schedules may vary).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Reports safety issues and repairs required.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Ensures route paperwork is with tractor trailer load.
• Drives and delivers trailers per schedule.
• Performs hook/unhook procedures safely.
• Parks and stores tractor trailers.
• Ensures equipment and freight are secured.
• Captures damaged goods and returns paperwork.
• Unloads equipment and cleans trailers.
• Maintains daily hours-of-service records.
• Keeps work areas tidy and safe.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
