Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver, Class A to operate a semi-tractor trailer for loading and delivering products between the plant and warehouse. The role requires adherence to safety, quality, and operational instructions.

Shifts are 6:00am–2:30pm on weekdays and 6:00am–6:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. A Hazmat-endorsed CDL, clean driving record, and DOT medical certification are required. The job offers full-time hours at DSV's Columbus-area operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of verified tractor-trailer experience in past 4 years.
• Clean driving record and valid DOT medical certificate.
• Pass road and backing tests during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vehicle on each trip; comply with laws and company policy.
• Maintain records of trailer numbers and vehicle positions.
• Interact with warehouse supervisors and follow safety requirements.
• Communicate with operations and warehouse staff via phone or radio.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions; place wheel chocks as needed.
• Follow airline/electrical hookup and backing procedures.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance.
• Help maintain warehouse and yard security.
