Job summary

SA Recycling LLC in Augusta, GA seeks a CDL Class A Truck Driver to move scrap metal to customers and return with empty containers. Roll Off and open top trailer experience is required; DOT regulations and safety rules apply.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inspecting metal grades, performing daily DOT inspections, coordinating with the office and customers, and maintaining a safe yard environment. Must pass DOT medical and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical DOT physical and DOT drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• 3 Years as a Valid CDL Class A driver required and registered with the Clearing House
• No Restrictions 10 speed manual required

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal.
• Inspect and determine metal grade for inventory tracking.
• Perform DOT daily operation and safety inspection.
• Communicates with office and customers to determine commodities to load.
• Works independently when driving scrap metal.
• Works with customers to satisfy their needs and assist them when problems arise.
