Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a Truck Driver in Georgia to move material between yards, load and unload, and return empty containers. Drive a semi-truck to customers’ yards, follow DOT regulations, and maintain safety.

Requirements include 3 years CDL driving, DOT medical and background checks, clean MVR, and willingness to work in a scrap metal yard. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; roll-off and end-dump experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years of CDL Driving experience.
• Must pass a medical DOT physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check with clean MVR and consent to Clearinghouse.
• Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal.
• Inspect and determine metal grade for inventory tracking.
• Perform DOT daily operation and safety inspections.
• Communicate with office and customers to determine commodities to load.
• Work with customers to satisfy needs and assist with problems.
• Maintain a safe yard environment with other employees.
