Job summary

McAllister is seeking a Jet/Vac operator to support sewer maintenance, inspection, and rehabilitation tasks. You will operate and maintain Jet/Vac equipment, load materials, and collaborate with the crew to ensure successful inspections and repairs.

The role requires the ability to work in extreme weather, pass DOT and drug tests, and lift up to 50 lbs. A High School diploma and Class A/B vehicle experience, plus a tanker endorsement, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
• Pass pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, and license checks without suspensions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience operating Class A/B vehicle; tanker endorsement.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Properly operate and maintain Jet/Vac equipment {Will Train}
• Performs all work tasks required to support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation pipeline tasks
• Work effectively with supervisors and all members of the crew to ensure successful inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems.
• Load materials and equipment into vehicles for transportation to and from the job site.
• Able to work in the elements - extreme cold and heat for long duration.
• Can lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver’s license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred 3-5 years of experience operating a Class A or B Vehicle
• Tanker Endorsement

• Ability to work overtime and out of town/state.
