Job summary

Vortex Companies in Livermore, ME seeks a Tanker Endorsement role to support sewer maintenance and rehabilitation projects. You will operate Jet/Vac equipment, load materials, and work with crew leaders to ensure quality inspections and repairs under varying weather conditions.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of Class A/B vehicle experience, with pre-employment drug testing and DOT physicals. Wages reflect hourly pay with overtime available.

Qualifications

Tanker Endorsement

Key Responsibilities

• Properly operate and maintain Jet/Vac equipment (will train)
• Perform all work tasks required to support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation pipeline tasks
• Work effectively with supervisors and all members of the crew to ensure successful inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems
• Load materials and equipment into vehicles for transportation to and from the job site
• Able to work in the elements – extreme cold and heat for long duration
• Can lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces
• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver’s license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements)

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Preferred 3-5 years of experience operating a Class A or B Vehicle
