Description

Our company is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials locally in a safe and timely manner. This is a full-time 1st shift position out of Waukegan Terminal, our home base terminal is Crystal Lake. The position is Monday through Friday, 2nd shift, generally a 2pm start time with an 8-10 hour shift. No weekends.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations

- Transport goods and materials to various locations across the country

- Ensure all cargo is secured properly and safely

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members

- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

- Valid CDL Class A license

- Minimum 23 years of age and 2 years of experience as a CDL Class A Driver

- Clean driving record

- Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol test, DOT physical and Functional Capacity Physical.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
