Job summary

Reyes Holdings seeks a CDL Class A Driver for Reyes Family of Businesses in Enfield, CT to safely operate a commercial vehicle and ensure courteous delivery to customers.

The role requires at least 1 year of CDL Class A experience (or military driving equivalent) and the ability to lift 170 pounds. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and a progressive pay plan are offered. Full benefits and paid training are provided; background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Have at least 1 year CDL Class A driving experience or equivalent military driving experience.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle and deliver products to customers.
• Unload and deliver products to local customers; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as electric pallet jack or hand truck.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position responsibilities:

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers.

• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle

• The CDL Class A Driver will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such asan electric pallet jack and/or hand truck

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Have at least 1 plus year CDL Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
