Construct Co Inc. is seeking a CDL A Driver to support marine construction projects along Florida’s coast. The role includes equipment transport, basic mechanical work, and operating heavy machinery to assist on-site operations.

You will travel to job sites around central and northeast Florida, with housing and per diem compensation provided. The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, safety focus, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A license with clean driving record.
• Experience in transporting equipment and hauling loads.
• Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair small tools/equipment.
• Experience operating heavy machinery (e.g., loaders, excavators).
• Ability to lift/move materials outdoors and work in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and transport materials and equipment using a CDL A vehicle.
• Load, unload, and haul construction equipment between shop, yard, and job sites.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs on vehicles and small equipment.
• Assist with site setup, equipment operation, and basic labor as needed.
• Maintain delivery and maintenance records and keep a safe worksite.

What you'll do

• Safely operate and transport materials and equipment using a CDL A vehicle
• Load, unload, and haul construction equipment between shop, yard, and job sites
• Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs on vehicles and small equipment
• Assist with site setup , equipment operation, and basic labor as needed
• Maintain accurate delivery and maintenance records
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
• Follow safety protocols and maintain an organized worksite.
• Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow supervisor direction to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively in a marine construction environment.
• Maintain a safe and organized worksite, adhering to OSHA safety protocols.
• Travel to job sites as required; housing and per diem compensation will be provided.

Qualifications

Definite Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
• Proven experience in equipment transport and hauling
• Basic mechanical skills – ability to troubleshoot and repair small tools and construction equipment
• Experience operating equipment (ex: loaders, excavators, or similar heavy machinery)
• Ability to lift and move materials safely and work outdoors in variable conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Adherence to a drug-free workplace policy.
