Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Team player with good communication and reliability.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and records.
• Must have 2 years of over-the-road experience.
• Must be at least 23 years old and hold a valid Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a valid Class A CDL license, DOT medical card, and adhere to all DOT regulations while driving a company class A vehicle.
• Responsible for maintaining fuel levels of tractors and trailers.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of all equipment to ensure safe operations.
• Ensure proper signatures and processing of bills of lading and required documents.
• Drop and hook trailers in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety standards.
• Complete yard checks and assist with on-site equipment management.
• Operate forklift and other heavy machinery as required; follow GMP and food safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as required.
