Job summary

Tomorrow RDS LLC in Virginia is seeking CDL A drivers to join our team. You will operate heavy trucks, perform inspections, and ensure cargo delivery safely and on time.

The role requires Roll-Off experience, a clean driving record, ability to work independently, and adherence to safety standards. Training on routes and tablet usage is provided; full-time, hourly pay between $28 and $32.

Qualifications

Job Summary

RDS CDL Drivers must drive safely, keep their attention on the road, and ensure that their cargo reaches its destination. They can adapt to changes quickly, be professional, work independently, and navigate unfamiliar areas successfully.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment to ensure the vehicle is in proper driving condition.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment and vehicle using proper safety standards.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions, troubleshoot equipment, and find new routes when needed.
• Keep the vehicle clean with all fluids and filters checked daily.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
• Be able to follow an assigned route and utilize a tablet to complete all jobs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

• Candidate must have a valid CDL A License, Required.
• Candidate must have Roll-Off experience
• High School diploma or GED.
• Outstanding driving record without incidents or major traffic violations.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent related experience in heavy truck operation, Roll-off driving, & Tractor Trailer Pulling.
• One (1) year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.

Status

Full-Time $28.00–$32.00 per hour, Non-Exempt

Physical Requirements

• Must successfully pass a drug/alcohol screening, and physical ability test, and be insurable.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant operations.
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This will include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stopping.
• Must be able to lift up to 45+ pounds at times.
