Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of CDL Class A driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card and ability to pass drug screening.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver items up to 50–75 lbs. regularly.
• Reliability and flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A tractors/trailers between local facilities and vendor locations.
• Execute late-afternoon and evening shuttles, drops, and local freight transfers.
• Perform rigorous pre-trip and post-trip inspections for DOT compliance.
• Secure heavy loads using straps, chains, or logistics bars to prevent shifting.
• Maintain electronic logs (ELDs), manifest paperwork, and delivery receipts with accuracy.
• Load and unload Class A trailers using forklifts or hand pallet jacks; stage outbound freight.
• Receive and verify inventory against shipping manifests and PO's; keep warehouse tidy.
• Close and secure the facility at the end of the 2nd shift (12:30 AM).
