Job summary

Gibbs Die Casting Corp. is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver / Warehouse Team Member for 2nd shift to support transportation and warehouse operations. The role blends driving, material handling, and hands-on warehouse work in the tristate area.

You will operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks, perform safety inspections, load/unload, and move materials to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A license with Hazmat preferred.
• 3+ months related experience or training requested.
• Willingness to comply with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment and straight trucks.

CDL DRIVER & WAREHOUSEPERSON--2nd Shift

Gibbs Die Casting is looking for a dependable CDL Class A Driver / Warehouse Team Member to support our transportation and warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of driving, material handling, and hands-on warehouse work.

You will primarily operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks throughout the surrounding tristate area while also supporting warehouse operations when needed.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment and straight trucks.
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure equipment is road-ready.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors and trailers.
• Load and unload freight as needed.
• Make deliveries and pickups throughout the surrounding tristate area.
• Move materials using a hand truck, forklift, or by hand.
• Load outgoing parts and verify parts, quantities, and shipping documentation.
• Unload and properly store customer dunnage, packaging materials, components, and parts.
• Pull and process material to support on-time customer deliveries.
• Follow FIFO and established shipping procedures.
• Verify labels, routing tags, container types, weights, counts, and other customer requirements.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies, damaged material, safety concerns, and other issues to supervision.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement preferred.
• At least 3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Willingness to comply with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements and annual limited-query requirements.
