Job summary

Rain for Rent in Joliet, IL is seeking a Driver to operate manual transmission trucks and trailers (GVWR 26,001+ lb) to pick up, deliver, and unload pipe and equipment. You will be the first line of customer service, representing the company on every job.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, securing loads, maintaining DOT logs, and performing pre- and post-trip inspections while following FMCSA rules. A Class A license is required; flexibility with evenings and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment.
• Maintain DOT driver’s logs and follow FMCSA regulations.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Interact with customers to obtain signatures.
• Record-keeping for deliveries and pickups.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and trailers to pick up and deliver pipe and equipment.
• Represent Rain for Rent and maintain good customer relations.
• Assist in installing tanks, pumps, pipes, and related equipment.
• Complete paperwork for rentals and service jobs.
• Follow safety policies and keep accurate records.
