Job summary

Rain For Rent in Omaha, NE seeks a Driver with Class A CDL to drive trucks including heavy GVWR equipment, deliver and install systems for customers, and maintain strong relationships with clients. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance while loading and unloading materials.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Loads, secures, and unloads materials and equipment with appropriate tools.
• Interact with customers to obtain signatures for work orders and invoicing as required.
• Maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Department of Transportation regulations and requirements.
• Perform required pre- and post-trip truck inspections and report any needed maintenance/repair.
• Assist in installation of tanks, pumps, pipes, fittings, and related equipment as requested.
• Complete paperwork in a timely, complete, and acceptable manner.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks including GVWR 26,001+ pounds to pick up, deliver and unload company pipe and equipment.
• Represent Rain for Rent positively and maintain good relations with customers.
• Deliver and unload equipment and materials per schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Follow safety and DOT regulatory requirements.
