Job summary

Rhino Container in California is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely transport and deliver products to customers. You will operate a tractor-trailer, load and unload using pallet jacks and forklifts, and maintain DOT compliance.

This full-time role requires a clean driving record, English communication, and a strong safety mindset. Expect a 5-day schedule with occasional evenings or weekends and competitive hourly pay of $25–$27.

Qualifications

• Current valid CDL Class A license and driving record meets company standards.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and required DOT qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customers on assigned routes.
• Load and unload product using pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and delivery ramps.
• Verify deliveries, collect customer signatures, and resolve delivery discrepancies.
• Pick up backhaul shipments from suppliers and return materials to the warehouse.
• Complete all required DOT logs, DVIRs, and delivery documentation.
• Adhere to company safety standards, DOT regulations, and Hours of Service requirements.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude during all deliveries.
• Participate in required company meetings and training programs.
