Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. is seeking a dependable CDL-A Driver to support construction operations both locally and on the road. This is a driving role that keeps you home regularly while transporting heavy equipment and materials to Arizona project sites.

You will operate CDL-class vehicles including lowboy trailers, dump trucks, and flatbeds, conducting pre-trip inspections and ensuring DOT compliance. Safety and accuracy come first in this essential role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required and a Medical card.
• Experience hauling and securing heavy construction equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar material-handling equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Position: CDL- A Local or OTR Driver (AZ)

R2 Contractors is seeking a dependable and experienced CDL- A Driver to support construction operations OTR. This is a driving position, allowing drivers to be home regularly while playing a key role in transporting heavy equipment and materials to project sites across the region.

What You'll Do

Compensation & Benefits

• $22-$34per hour, DOE.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday -Friday
• Occasional schedule flexibility based on project demands.
• What types of tractors do we operate?
  We have 3-4 axle Kenworth T880s and 3 Peterbilt 579s for our sleeper trucks. We run dump trucks, water trucks, a transfer, a tub, and 2 belly dumps. We also run some step deck and lowboy as needed locally.
• What trailer configurations and equipment do our drivers typically haul?
  We run step decks and lowboys up to 10 axles.
