Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Horseshoe Beach, FL is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to transport building materials to dealers, distribution centers and job sites by tractor-trailer. You will perform safe pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle condition, and provide top-notch customer service on every delivery, with occasional weekends and flexible hours.

Requires a valid Class A license, 2 years of truck driving experience and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience required (military DD214 acceptable).
• Clean driving record.
• Willing to tarp using Conestoga XP Roll Tarp Systems.
• Operate trailer mounted forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Multi-drop delivery experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Plan and manage time efficiently.
• Work safely throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to dealers, distribution centers and job sites by tractor-trailer.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
• Report repairs and maintenance promptly.
• Comply with DOT guidelines.
• Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett.
• Occasional weekend work; flexible hours.
