Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck and handle palletized freight deliveries and pickups. The schedule runs Monday–Friday starting around 7:30 AM, with overtime built in.

Compensation is $23.00–$27.00 per hour based on experience, with overtime paid after 40 hours. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, and benefits include health/dental insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission and manage route efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle safety.
• Deliver and pick up palletized freight on time.
• Complete mileage and maintenance forms as required.
• Assist other drivers and handle load documentation.
