Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking CDL Class A drivers to operate tractor-trailer combinations or straight trucks for palletized freight delivery and pickups. The role includes a 7:30 AM start, overtime expectations, and paid overtime after 40 hours.

The position offers hourly pay ranging from $23.00 to $27.00 based on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include health, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k), and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Must possess or obtain a doubles/triples endorsement.
• Must possess good customer service and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver and pick up palletized freight and large shipments.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Complete mileage and maintenance forms and return bills of ladings for billing.
• Verify load-related documents for accuracy and collect payments when needed.
