Job summary

Penske is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our nationwide fleet. You’ll operate late-model Penske trucks, with in-cab cameras for safety, and deliver manufacturing components to customers on a Monday–Friday schedule with a 12:00 PM start.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and domiciled in the U.S.
• Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1–2 years of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations/accidents in 3 years
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and company standards
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential
• English language proficiency required for compliance
• Background check and drug screening are mandatory
• DOT/safety sensitive role requiring alertness and safe operations

Responsibilities

• Safely perform drop-and-hook and live-load deliveries to customers
• Complete an average of 32 drop-and-hook assignments weekly
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on tractors and equipment
• Escalate equipment repair needs promptly
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers and dispatch
