Job summary

QXO is seeking a field-driven driver to perform touch-freight tasks, load verification, and site safety inspections. The role includes pre-inspections, coordinating with dispatch, and adhering to DOT and company safety procedures.

You will contribute to a safe loading/unloading environment and timely deliveries across sites. The position requires driving a manual transmission truck with CDL, at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather

Qualifications

• CDL license valid in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and manual transmission trucks.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting/moving/carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect sites for safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatcher for timely delivery.
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.
