Job summary

Tidewater Barge Lines is seeking a Class A CDL Operator to join our Kent, WA team. You will transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, operate diverse equipment, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries across the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, communicating with customers, and adhering to safety regulations. Wages vary by experience, with a signing bonus and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Flexible schedule with up to 14 hour days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel to out-of-town job sites as required.
• Meeets DOT medical clearance and respirator requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading and unloading equipment and materials.
• Operating tractor-trailer combinations, roll-off trucks, street sweepers, and vacuum trucks.
• Ensuring safe, timely transportation and delivery of products.
• Maintaining professional communication with employees and customers.
• Representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
