Clean Harbors in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs. You will perform driving and non-driving duties on- and off-site as part of hazardous waste cleanup operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements should be obtained within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical as applicable.
• Must meet OSHA Respiratory Protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs.
• Load and unload trucks and perform manual labor on site.
• Ensure proper placarding to meet DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets and complete reports.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations and company guidelines.
• Operate safely in accordance with U.S. DOT rules.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis if required.
• Assist with site remediation and handling of hazardous materials.
