Penhall Company in Hawaii is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver to operate a tractor with an end dump trailer and a roll-off truck on construction sites across Oahu.

You will haul demolition debris, load and unload, perform inspections, and maintain logs while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety rules. This role requires reliable, safety-focused teamwork and flexibility for early starts and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with no E, L, Z, or O restrictions.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Pass pre-employment DOT drug test and FMCSA Clearinghouse check.
• 2–3+ years verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Roll-off truck experience or quick qualification preferred.
• Clean driving record meeting company/insurance requirements.
• Able to work early starts, overtime, and some nights/weekends.

Responsabilités

• Operate CDL-class commercial vehicles.
• Drive a Class A tractor with a manual transmission, pulling an end dump trailer.
• Run a roll-off truck to deliver, place, swap, and pick up bins at jobsites.
• Place bins safely with attention to ground conditions, lines, access, and site layout.
• Load, haul, and dump debris and materials safely at jobsites, landfills, or recycling facilities.
• Tarp and secure loads, stay within weight limits and DOT rules.
• Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep DVIRs complete.
• Maintain logs, bin tracking, load/dump tickets, and hours-of-service records.
• Report defects or maintenance needs promptly; assist with basic upkeep.
• Follow jobsite safety plans, traffic control, and spotter instructions.
• Help with yard and equipment duties when not hauling.
