Watkins Express Freight is seeking a Regional CDL A Company Driver to deliver freight across designated regions with energy and professionalism. You’ll be the backbone of our logistics operation, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
• At least 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• No more than two moving violations in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers on regional routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
• Plan routes to optimize delivery times and minimize fuel consumption and vehicle wear.
• Maintain logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding schedules, route changes, or issues on the road.
