Job summary

Wolfe House & Building Movers, LLC. is seeking a CDL Class A truck driver / construction laborer to load and transport equipment to and from job sites and assist with site preparation.

This is a full-time position with overtime on a regular basis. Responsibilities include driving semitrucks, assisting the site crew with lifting and moving buildings, loading materials, setting up cribbing bases, beams, hydraulic lines, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license is required.
• OSHA 10-Hour Training required.
• Clean driving record is essential.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Minimum of one year driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive semitrucks and equipment as needed.
• Work with site crew to lift and move buildings.
• Assist in loading tool trucks and semitrucks with construction materials.
• Assist in moving construction materials from trucks to job sites.
• Assist in setting up bases for cribbing piles, ensuring straight and level piles.
• Assist with the installation of beams.
• Assist with installing and hooking up jacks and testing hydraulic lines for safety.
• End-of-day jobsite cleanup and secure storage of equipment.
• Identify safety hazards and mitigate risks on site.
• Additional duties as needed by the supervisor.
