Job summary

American Drilling and Sawing Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our construction and specialty cutting crew. You will safely operate Class A trucks, load/unload equipment, and coordinate with dispatch to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Clean MVR with a strong safety record.
• DOT medical certificate and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Experience operating heavy-duty trucks and hauling construction equipment.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and securing cargo.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and machinery to job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Load and unload drilling and sawing equipment, ensuring proper securement of cargo
• Equipment Operation a plus
• Coordinate with dispatch and field crews to meet delivery schedules and project timelines
• Maintain trip reports and documentation per FMCSA requirements
• Assist crew members on job sites as needed to support drilling and concrete cutting operations
• Maintain cleanliness and routine upkeep of assigned commercial vehicle
