Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an Equipment Operator to perform daily maintenance and inspections of heavy equipment on our Texas projects. You will operate trucks and related equipment, including water trucks, in a safety-conscious, efficient manner.

Candidates must have 12+ months of construction driving experience, a valid Class A CDL, and pass the DOT drug screen and background check. You will work varied hours, including nights and weekends, and follow strict safety procedures on job sites.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of relevant driving experience in construction
• Must have a Class A or B CDL and current licensure
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must adhere to safety requirements and company policies
• Know and adhere to DOT rules and regulations
• MVR must meet company and DOT standards

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Attend daily safety meetings and follow safety policies
• Work hours vary (days, nights, weekends) to meet project needs
• Able to work in hot/cold weather and adverse conditions
• Maintain compliance with all safety procedures and regulations
• Indicate last 10 years of work history in the application
