Job summary

QXO, Inc. in Florida seeks a CDL Class A Driver to safely deliver building materials to customer locations and job sites. This role combines driving with loading, securing, and documentation duties.

You will perform vehicle inspections, plan routes, communicate with dispatch, and ensure timely, professional service while upholding safety and DOT/FMCSA regulations. The position requires reliability, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL Class A license and be 21 or older.
• Minimum 1–2 years verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks.
• Experience with flatbed/oversized loads preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials to customer locations per schedule.
• Perform pre-trip, en‑route, and post-trip inspections.
• Load, secure, and unload materials using proper methods.
• Obtain customer signatures and document delivery details.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report issues to leadership.
• Communicate with dispatch about delays or changes.
