Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service in St. Cloud, MN, seeks a CDL Class A Driver (LTL) to deliver and pick up palletized freight using tractor-trailer or straight truck.

Mon-Fri, 7:30AM start; 10-15 hours overtime weekly with time-and-a-half after 40 hours; hourly pay $23.00-$27.00 based on experience, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, on-time deliveries, load documentation and payments handling, and maintaining DOT safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a pre-trip inspection to ensure safety and compliance.
• Deliver palletized freight on time and pick up shipments from shippers.
• Turn in pre-trip forms and mileage/maintenance records.
• Verify all load-related documentation for accuracy.
• Collect payment for shipments as necessary and return bills of lading to the office for billing.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and company safety policies.
• Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pickup as needed.
