Job summary

Mericle Construction, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver for the Sitework team.

This regular full-time role drives a Triaxle with a tag-a-long trailer, transports equipment and aggregates between worksites, and provides labor support when not operating the truck. The successful candidate will operate heavy equipment safely, maintain accurate daily records, and be willing to use timekeeping and tracking systems.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required or preferred.
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements are a plus.
• DOT medical card is required/advantageous.
• Strong safety and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Triaxle with tag-a-long trailer to deliver equipment and materials to site.
• Operate heavy equipment safely during loading/unloading.
• Self-load triaxles for aggregate delivery and maintain records.
• Labor when not operating truck and assist as needed.
• Adhere to timekeeping and tracking using company systems.

CDL Class A Driver (Regular Full Time)

Department: Sitework

Mericle Construction, Inc. is currently seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver . This Truck Driver will operate Triaxle with tag a long trailer to transport equipment between worksites, haul aggregates from various locations for delivery to jobsites, and labor when not operating truck.

The Mericle team includes licensed architects, land planners, professional engineers, surveyors, licensed electricians, plumbers, carpenters, leasing and marketing professionals, property managers, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Triaxle with Tag-a-long trailer to deliver equipment and materials to site.
• Operate heavy equipment in a safe manner during loading/unloading.
• Safely operate equipment to self-load triaxles for aggregate delivery.
• Ability and willingness to Labor when not operating truck.
• Willingness to use technology for time keeping and tracking.
• Ability to keep accurate records of daily moves and material deliveries.

Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent (Preferred).
• Ability to represent company in a professional manner with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional manner and strong ethical code.
• Ability to remain motivated and positive.
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately; delivers excellence in workmanship.
• Ensures the safety of crew members and the public who may interact with job.
• CDL Class A - Hazmat (H)and Tanker (N) is a plus
• DOT Physical (CDL Drivers and Bucket Truck Drivers)/DOT Medical Card
