Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is hiring a Full-Time CDL Class A Driver in Negaunee Township, Michigan. The primary responsibility is the safe operation of commercial vehicles and the courteous delivery of products to local customers. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of driving experience, possess a valid Class A CDL, and be able to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle for the delivery of products.
• Unload and deliver products to local customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.

Position responsibilities

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers
• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
