Martin Brower in McCook, IL is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely operate company equipment and deliver products to local customers. Responsibilities include unloading, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and operating PIT/MHE equipment.

Starting pay is $32.26/hour with increases to $34.16 after 6 months and $37.95 after 1 year, with comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Competitive Pay with Guaranteed Progression: Starting at $32.26/hour, increasing to $34.16/hour after 6 months and $37.95/hour after 1 year.

Position Responsibilities

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers.
• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• The CDL Class A Driver will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such asan electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Have at least 1 plus year CDL Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
