Job summary

Capital Hauling is hiring Class A CDL Drivers for Jefferson City and Columbia areas. A clean driving record and previous construction-driving experience are desirable. The role involves hauling various truck types and requires regular dispatch communication, daily inspections, and maintenance of logs.

Responsibilities

• Driver is expected to perform daily truck inspections.
• Maintain truck logs or time recordings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Capital Hauling is seeking Class A CDL Drivers in the Jefferson City and Columbia area. Successful candidates should have a clean driving record. Some prior experience driving in a construction setting is desirable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Valid CDL Class A
• Clean driving records
• Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.
• Previous experience driving experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills to interact at all levels.
• Work overtime, nights, and weekends, as needed.
• Willing to travel/work out of town.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

• Completion of a written test covering CDL Class A or B general knowledge
• Candidates should be prepared to perform a pre-trip inspection demonstration
