Job summary

Capital Hauling is seeking Class A CDL Drivers in the Jefferson City and Columbia area. This is a full-time position with a focus on safety and reliable delivery schedules.

Responsibilities include communicating with dispatch, performing daily inspections, maintaining logs, and ensuring compliance with safety policies. Candidates should have a clean driving record, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and be willing to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A
• Clean driving records
• Punctual, strong work ethic, and good attendance record
• Previous experience driving in a related setting is desirable

• Assigned loads, report as directed to the job site and complete a work order daily for that job.
• Perform daily truck inspections.

• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Additional Application Requirements

• Completion of a written test covering CDL Class A or B general knowledge
• Candidate should be prepared to perform a pre-trip inspection demonstration
