Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking a licensed CDL Driver in Birmingham, AL to safely deliver exterior and interior building products. You will ensure safe handling from the facility to the customer and document each delivery with photos using our phone system.

Your role supports a team-oriented environment with duties inside and around the branch, including possible warehouse tasks. This position keeps you home nightly.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL - Class A is required.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (70 pound shingles common).
• Pre-employment and random drug screens required.
• Flatbed truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials safely and maintain a clean, organized truck.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and follow directives.
• Document deliveries with photos using company phone system.
• Perform load checks and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler for unloading.
• Complete logs and government paperwork in a timely manner.
• Provide customer with an invoice and collect COD where applicable.
• May perform warehouse tasks including loading/unloading.
• This position does not require over-the-road travel.
