Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery truck or tractor-trailer primarily to pick up or deliver waterworks products.
• Verify the contents of loaded materials against shipping paperwork.
• Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment to ensure truck is in proper working condition.
• Properly secure loaded vehicles.
• Retain bills and receipts for goods delivered or loaded.
• Report any mechanical problems, traffic delays, accidents, or other transportation situations to branch management team using a mobile device.
• Operate vehicle in a safe and careful manner in order to prevent product damage during shipment.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed.
• Assist with general housekeeping of the warehouse and branch facility as needed.
• Perform customer service duties as requested to support client’s needs.
• Comply with safe work habits established by the company.
• Support the Warehouse and Branch Management teams as needed.
